(DJ Memi) was born in 1985 in Slovenia. He started listening to electronic music at the early age of 12, when he was inspired by the unique style of DJ Umek. A few years later, when he first visited Ambasada Gavioli in Izola, he was struck by David Morales house vibes and instantly fell in love with house music.
He started his DJ career in 2005 at his best friends birthday party when he first stepped behind two old Technics SL-1210 MK2 decks and played his first live set. His friends immediately recognized his talent; it was due to their support that he decided to continue spinning house music. After finishing high school, he moved to Ljubljana to study medicine. Nevertheless, it didn’t take him long to get noticed by the folks there. His first breakthrough was in April 2006, when he performed at the legendary K4 club in Ljubljana.\n\nMISTINA\n\nYoung and promising DJ Mistina comes from Ljutomer where she coddles her fans with electronic music. Her hobby is music and it accompanied her from early age on. It gives her great inspiration and she can’t imagine her life without it. She’s a member of the pervasive agency VIP DJ’s. Mistina performed all over Slovenia and has already established herself with her carefully selected urban sounds of house music. She is currently working on her first solo single released by the publishing house Divide Records. At Lent Festival she will delight and enchant you with sexy performance and trendy dance rhythms.\n\nTRICK-C\n\nIf it's true that regular change of environment is of key importance for artists, the “first lady of Slovenian electronic music" is on a good path to be printed in bold in clubbing annals. A girl born in Germany was assigned a music career at birth as she only slept if she was given earphones to cover her ears. A bit more than a quarter of a century later she is known as Trick-C and she wouldn't swap her earphones and the adrenaline that she experiences when playing the music for anything in the world.\n\nTrick-C succumbed to electronic music in 1991 when she got her first tape with electronic music tracks. To win the title "the first lady of Slovenian electronic music" she worked very hard at the beginning of her career as she was cultivating the hills around her hometown Ljutomer and Pomurje with new techno sounds, and later, having moved to Maribor and then to Ljubljana her network of partners and adherents grew constantly. With her companion in life DJ Point she worked also a lot in Croatia, especially in Zagreb, at all underground techno locations (Mikulichi, Sator Viva Piva, Valentino) and parties (Ufo Beats, Ponikve open air...), they were among the organisers of the first parties where techno was played all night long on big floor (Pula Borguignon) and even now Trick-C continues to foster the cultural exchange with neighbours as a soloist.\n\nThe past few years she has devoted intensely to creating her own music. The same as when working behind a turntable, she doesn't pay much respect to fashion trends, but rather build her own music story, which was always fed on alternative music. She follows this music philosophy in her latest tracks, which are closer to pristine techno than the impersonal music matrices that have lately seduced the majority of old fighters.\n\nFunky, driving, clubby, dance techno combined with different styles are the main ingredients of her creative work. Her releases appeared besides on fresh underground techno labels also on internationally renown techno labels Soul Access, Glorio Music, soon to come SubCult and Adult's sublabel Groove Worxx. \n\n LOCATION:Mladina stage X Creative Underground ORGANIZER;CN="NIGRAD": END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
