Tinko is a peculiar boy. In the morning, he puts on just one trouser leg, one sleeve, one sock and one shoe. He brushes only the lower half of his teeth, he drinks only half of a glass of milk, and he does not go all the way to school, but makes it only half of the way: because he sees half of the world as it is, and half of the world as he wants it to be. Maybe Tinko is even only just a half of a hero – the other half of heroism has to be our own contribution. The performance Tinko the Halfboy celebrates the friendship between the world of imagination, creativity and desire, and the real world of everyday rules. Once Tinko's wish comes true and he gets a cat, we believe that he will become a good boy, a perfectly ordinary real boy … But sill … Imagination is not blackmailing, instead, it is a special way of looking at the world – a world seen through a child's eyes.
