Today, as well as 6 years ago, behind SevdahBABY alias stands only one man. His name is Milan Stanković and he is most joyful when he mixes different musical cultures in his tunes. He is not afraid of being accused of heresy from neither audience: for example, from the mainstream or Balkan folk music fans on one hand and representatives of the urban club culture on the other hand. He strongly believes that music is universal, and the Balkan Sevdah is equal to American blues, or Brazilian tristessa. Two years ago, he gathered his most trusted and talented friends and formed SevdahBABY LIVE. SevdahBABY, who was once a one-man-band, now arouse to a whole new level. Vocalists of this new band, Djixx and Lou Benny, now greatly contribute both in performing and creative manner.
From the moment that the first SevdahBABY song appeared in Serbian language (the remix of Srdjan Jul's "Koketa") great interest aroused around this artist's work. Soon after that came "3 Poljupca" and "Ljubi me brzo, žurim". These new songs which quickly became hits had the singers in the front. while Milan, SevdahBABY, was only playing bass guitar in the back. This is why a lot of people didn't quite understand who SevdahBABY might be? Could it be that guy with a funny disco folk hat? Or is it the whole band with couple of beautiful ladies behind the microphones? Are they from Serbia, or from Bosnia (because of Sevdah)? Or from Croatia because of the accent in the song "3 Poljupca"? The only thing certain is that SevdahBABY is a solo producer who likes moving musical and social boundaries.

NEOMI
Saša Vipotnik (vocals), Tadej Košir (guitar), Jernej Kržič (bass), Anže Žurbi (drums), Erik Marenče (keyboards), Urban Sever (vocals), Katja Sever (vocals)
Neomi is an urban music group at the beginning of their creative career. The band is not connected just through the music, they are also connected through family ties. 1st member of the group and author of the songs is Saška Vipotnik. Next two members of the band are her cousins Jernej Kržič and Tadej Košir. The group is accompanied by a drum player Anže Žurbi and keyboard player Erik Marenče. On backing vocals are brother and sister Urban and Katja Sever. It all started about five years ago, when Saška Vipotnik, otherwise a medical student, presented her songs and lyrics to their cousins that deal with music professionally. Both – bassist Jernej Kržič and guitarist Tadej Košir - were educated at the conservatory in Klagenfurt, her cousin Jernej is still finishing his studies at the SAE Institute. Cousins were impressed by the music and immediately started working on arrangements and recorded demos in Jernej’s studio. Because of the number of studying commitments of all members, the project could only come into realisation just a year ago. At that time they invited all the other members of the band. The plan was to practice together with the band for two months and then record the songs in the studio. But musicians became very connected to each other, they were invited to play some concerts and from a short-term project a real "band" developed. Neomi means sweet and pleasant. Jernej and Saška chose the name while traveling through India. There they met an Israeli girl named Neomi, whom they immediately liked because of her simplicity, sincerity, and of course, because of her name.
