The band's beginnings extend back into the year 2010, when Roga, Ante and Viktor first got together to make music. A few months later destiny saw to it that Roko and his vocals swiftly joined the band. To date, they have had several performances in Šibenik and other Croatian cities (Split, Zagreb, ...). The band claim they are not sure how to describe their music: a kind of rock with a trace of funk and dance rhythms, and with tough, solid guitar riffs. This year they started working on their first album.
DISKOBAJAGI
Brano Jakubović, Vedran Mujagić
Diskobajagi is an audio-visual duo, founded in 2008 by Vedran Mujagić and Branislav Jakubović, who are known as members of the well-recognised band Dubioza kolektiv. Their live performances generate an interesting combination of mixing, sampling and re-editing of music videos, films and music from numerous genres. In this way, they create an unexpected “mash-up” combination of sound and image, which is a lot more dynamic than the usual approach to DJ-ing and VJ-ing. It beckons the listener through a fusion of known and unknown tracks.
In 2009, the duo produced the compilation “Operacija Diskobajagi” (“Operation Diskobajagi”), released for the label Ekipa from Sarajevo. The album also features the remixes of several Bosnian bands: Letu štuke, Dubioza kolektiv, Skroz, Dbau, Starke, Sikter, and KZU ole ole & PZU oje oje.
