The quintessentially British band is the only one to have combined elements of punk, rock, metal, reggae and electronic music with such success. Skindred rose phoenix-like from the ashes of seminal British ragga punks Dubwar at the turn of the millennium fronted again by iconic (and Elvis obsessed) frontman Benji Webbe. With him were bassist and jungle/grime/electronica-loving Dan Pugsley, ginger Billy Gibbons riff-lord Mikeydemus and hard rocking drum prodigy Arya Goggin.\n\nThe band hit the ground running with their debut, Babylon, which included the breakthrough singles and consistent live favourites, ‘Nobody’, ‘Pressure’ and ‘Selector’. With the new line-up the band were immediately live favourites and invited all over the world. \n\nTheir sophomore album 'Roots Rock Riot’ followed in 2005. The mini-album 'Shark Bites And Dog Fights' was released in 2009. Since then the band have played to tens of thousands of people in Europe and elsewhere.\n\nIn 2011 the band have completed their third album, Union Black. The fact that it’s the first to be recorded here in the UK means much a lot to the band. As for the title of the album, Benji explains that it is a celebration of the diversity of the UK: “We’re all from different places and backgrounds within the commonwealth, but – like with paint – when you mix all the colours together you get black. We’re all kindred spirits here in Blighty.” \n\nSkindred just don’t do bad shows, Benji never gives less than 800%, and that’s so much of what makes Skindred what it is. \n\nAre you ready for Skindred?\n\nHEX\n\nDavor Lonzarič aka. Dahow (DJ, keyboards), Omar Ismail (vocals), Max Power (vocals), Kris Kylven (drums)\n\nThe project was born when Max Power and Dahow joined punk-rock with electronic music, more precisely with drum'n'bass. In the past Max colaborated with different rock groups, while Dahow was involved in projects with young producers at the Slovenian coast (Elektrofolp, Electronic beats, ...). Omar Ismail was the frontman of the group Mi familia and joined Dahow and Power with his unique energetic style. \n\nAfter a couple of months the first single with the title 'Adrenaline' was released. The song was very popular at home and abroad and that is why they made a music video which was then shown on MTV Adria. Later the group released their first EP "Party Destruction". \n\n LOCATION:Večer-Bühne ORGANIZER;CN="DEM": END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
