In the last decade, Truffaz had a big impact on the image of jazz and modern music. A Swiss-born French jazz trumpeter infuses elements of cool jazz, electronics, drum and bass, hip hop, pop, dub, classic and Arabian music into his compositions. Because of his excellent fusion of various genres, he was compared to Miles Davis, who was also Truffaz’s role model. Since his debut album 'Nina Valeria' (1994), he has become and remained one of the most successful musicians in France.  He released 17 albums with the label Blue note and topped the jazz charts all over the world. In Maribor, he will introduce his new album 'In between' that confirms Truffaz is one of the key names of modern (electric) jazz. \n\n
