MENTALNI FREE-STYLE

Mental free-style is a performative form of dialogue between the actor (VojkoBelšak) and a musician/composer (Ivo Kopecky) in front of the audience. It combines cabaret, magic show elements, stand up comedy, monodrama and musical/acting improvisations. The inspiration for such project mainly comes from the actual need of producing a team to sail off into the unknown and recognize a different form of interpretation of reality. An interesting fact is that none of the performers has been creative in such way before.

We want to merge philosophy and quantum physics with music and voice. We want to research the phenomenon of drastic increase of the subjective feel of time on our planet. We want to gain an access into our everyday and with such share new views of the human spirit and existence. To confirm life in ourselves and indirectly pass on optimism to other people. Everyone has the right to her/his own life and the right to fight for it. The indirect impulse for this is the image and the work of the great scientist and discoverer, Nikola Tesla - the absolute master of electric field. He is the Prometheus of the contemporary civilization wholike an alchemist transforms natural forces into light.
