ARHIBALD ARHIBALDOVICH
The band was formed in 2009, but it was only in 2011 that they got permanently imprinted into the memory of the casual observer of the Slovenian underground scene, first by appearing at the festival YugoRez III. (MKC Pri Rdeči Ostrigi, Škofja Loka) and then by playing as the support act for the band Repetitor from Beograd (Kino Metropol, Celje). The larger section of the musically interested public is familiar with A. A. through their victory at the competition 'Glasba z drugega planeta' ('Music from another planet'), which enabled them to become one of the support acts for Moby at the MARS Festival. Later they also acted as the support group for the British band The Crookes in the towns of Celje and Ljubljana. Among their more visible performances we could also mention their concert at the festival Trnfest in 2011 (Ljubljana), and their appearance as a support act for the American band The Walkmen in Kino Šiška (Ljubljana).
Their music flirts with contemporary British indie rock bands, whose influence they haven't yet been able to discard fully, which isn't necessarily bad. Their zesty songs are constructed on a consistent rhythmical basis, flavoured with the association between the drummer and the bass player, and upgraded with the solid combinatorics of the two guitarists. The interplay between the guitarists, with their melodic inserts, is able to seduce us even into something that may at moments sound a bit like pop. Something interesting for 'alternative folks' and something that is more than acceptable for the mainstream public. In short, Arhibald Arhibaldovich are easy-going, unpretentious, youthful and dancy.
Recently the boys have tried to improve their old songs and produce new ones, which involves the fluctuating relations among the band members – their relations are sometimes tight and stiff, and then they are also light and carefully nourished. The end of this period is concluded with the arrival of the new demo recordings, which announce the band's return to the concert stages.
The leap that the band has managed to make in the last year is easy to notice. At the moment, they are not (yet) generally recognised as one of the most original Slovenian bands, but it is safe to say that they are well on their way there. It they keep up with the present tempo, we need not fear for the future of the Slovenian indie rock.
MILK DRINKERS
Milk Drinkers is an electronic music band from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The band was founded in 2010 while walking down Lesce and drinking milk. In January 2012 they released their debut EP "Leather Nation" on Chakra, Slovenian label, founded by Ian Green. As they were influenced by many different genres of music, from hiphop to rock, disco, etc., they are now exploring different sounds and trying to spread their taste. The band's projects/live shows are based on music, visuals and fashion, as they usually wear leather jackets and wayfarers on stage.
TWINATOR
TWINATOR is a project of two young music artists Blaž and Uroš Zorčič (twins). Both have been working with electronic music or several years. Both currently do not have a certain style, therefore they switching between: techno, house, progressive house, experimental, ... With new ideas they want to set new boundaries for electronic music, therefore their music is often described as a new experimental sound.
DR. KLASH
Dr. Klash (born Francisco Alvarez) hails from the Latin American country of Venezuela. After spending in that country a short part of his childhood, he then moved on to live in the Caribbean, the U.S., Colombia and Slovenia - where he temporarily resides. Having experienced a very culturally, and therefore musically, diverse life since a very early age - he thrives on klashing genres like moombahton, rap and rock with the raw electronic power of genres like techno, dubstep and electro; effectively creating a zesty musical cocktail. With his performance collective, ANALOGUE KLASH, he's already played in places like: Kino Moviemento (Berlin, Germany), Feito|Conceito (Coimbra, Portugal), K4, Trnfest and Gala Hala (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and Sirup (Zagreb, Croatia), among many others.
KRIS KYLVEN
He was born in France, with a Corsican, Arabian and Canadian family heritage, and is a DJ, remixer, producer, electronic drummer and graphic designer and has been producing many records for the last 16 years, from electro/techno/trance/industrial/rock to chill-out music. As well as being a pioneer of psychedelic trance and industrial crossover with his well know 1990's projects "UX", "Element Over Nature" and "EoN Project" Kris is now emerging with a new sound with his new Brand of club and radio shows "BASSLINE NATION" by exploring the spheres of "dubstep/electro /nubreaks & drum 'n' bass". He's been playing all over Europe , Israel & Japan.
He is well know for his distinctive compositions and DJ sets by combining and twisting around various musical genres. His has worked with many respected and established bands like: Juno Reactor (responsible for the music of Matrix Reloaded/Matrix Revolutions), Killing Joke (post punk/industrial rock and 80's fame), The 69 Eyes (successful upcoming Finnish gothic rock band), Amorphis (famous metal band, collaboration and live performances with longtime friend and drummer Jan Rechberger – Finland), Kiwa (Finnish nubreaks act produced in USA), Hex (DnB & electro breaks Slovene band), Kloq (Ex Empirion – crossover electro techno rock - UK) ...
He has been remixing acts like: Marylin Manson, Killing Joke, Juno Reactor, Das Ich, Einsturzende Neubauten, Siouxsie & the Banshees, The 69 eyes, Private Line, Male Or female (aka Front 242), Snog, Spies, Viola, Scary valentine and many more.
