'JAMAICAN LEGENDS 2012' is a unique project that celebrates Jamaica’s 50^th anniversary of independence.

Virtuoso Guitarist Ernest Ranglin is one of the forefathers of Jamaican popular music, who helped to shape the sound of ska. Pianist Tyrone Downie was a member of Bob Marley's group The Wailers and since then played with many famous names likes Burning Spear, Peter Tosh and Black Uhuru.

Drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare are a creative storm and their rhythms have been the driving force behind innumerable songs. Ernest Ranglin, Monty Alexander, Sly and Robbie are responsible for pushing the sound of Jamaica into the global mainstream. Now they are all playing together as the 'JAMAICAN LEGENDS 2012'.

Bitty McLean is a British/Jamaican reggea and ragga musician, best known for his successful cover songs like 'It Keeps Rainin' (Tears From My Eyes) and 'Dedicated to the One I Love' from the mid 1990s. In 2007, he recorded a studio album, entitled 'Movin' on' with Sly and Robbie and in 2008 and 2009, they toured Japan, Europe and Marocco together.
