CAÑA BALCAÑA

The group Caña -Balcaña is known for writing their own music. In recent years, they focused on flamenco and recorded their album Kata. By cooperating with two Macedonian musicians, Mirsad Demirov and Mustafa Arifov, the project BalCaña gets a pinch of authentic gypsy music. The project’s purpose is to highlight the similarities of styles and to combine them. Their music also includes elements of modern music and they refer to their style as Al Balcan.
