Sasa Olenjuk (guitar, vocals), Boštjan Gombač (clarinet, Celtic whistles, Irish drum, ocarina, flutes, percussions, vocals)
Saša Olenjuk studied at the Kiev Conservatory, where he graduated in the class of Prof. Stern. He performs worldwide as leader and 1st soloist of the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra and is known in Slovenia as an excellent performer of ethnic and other music. Apart from performing, Olenjuk has also done many arrangements for groups he performs with (Sukar, Zoran Predin).
BOŠTJAN GOMBAČ studied clarinet at the Ljubljana music academy (under the mentorship of Prof. J. Kotar). As a studio musician and excellent performer he has collaborated with many well-known Slovene artists and formations. He himself says that he has a Celtic heart. Being in love with Irish traditions he found a way to express this passion – by performing and making Irish music.
At the Lent Festival these superb musicians and tremendous performers will introduce you to their concept of ethnic music.
