Svetlana Makarovič wrote a fairy tale about a hungry cat who uses her last cat coin to buy herself a green ribbon rather than something to eat. This travelling performance that does not require a stage retells the cat's story. Irena and Karel go for a picnic, but Karel forgets to tell Irena (who is very hungry) that first he has to fulfill a promise he made to the children – he promised to tell them a fairy tale about a very very very hungry little white cat, named Pawcat, who preferred to buy a green ribbon for her last coin rather than invest it into something to eat. A freezer becomes a skunk's den, a bucket becomes a fox's den, and in the end a dachshund jumps from a backpack and saves Pawcat from the claws of a voracious fox.
