DUSTY KID (ITA)
DUSTY KID [aka Paolo Alberto Lodde] was born in the first half of the decade of the 80’s. As a new “enfant prodige” he immediately showed his natural attitude for the variegated “music world”. At 10, after just one year of private lessons of the basic notions of piano and violin, he was admitted directly to the 6° year of the piano course in the conservatory of his native city. Following the academic experience, his tasks moved gradually from the austere classical world to the electronic system, free from binds and traditional old-fashioned diktats. DUSTY KID started to manipulate synthesizers, samplers and sequencers, and he realized that one passion was growing and growing: arranging and producing his own compositions. He released his first single “I Found A Reason” at 19 on the English label Lowered Recordings, and then he produced various singles and remixes for Mutiny UK, Robbie Rivera and Trinity Hi-Fi. The first official single under the aegis of the pseudonym DUSTY KID was “The Summer of Love”.
But it’s during 2004 that Dusty Kid creates the project Duoteque with DJ Andrea Ferlin and releases numerous EPs on Boxer Recordings and the tracks were immediately included in the DJ sets of some of the most important names, like Richie Hawtin, Tiefschwarz, Ricardo Villalobos, Dominik Eulberg, Sven Väth and Magda.
After the Duoteque experience Paolo decides to take his own way and to release his own productions as DUSTY KID. First release was the NEW ORDINAMENT EP on Motivo, followed by a second EP in 2007. 2007 is also the year of various releases as Dusty Kid on labels such as Kling Klong “Signal ’63 EP”, Systematic “Tsunamy”/”Milk”, Boxer Recordings “Anatome EP Vol.1” and Southern Fried Records “The Cat” / “The Kitten”, all hugely supported by DJS all over the world and still doing damage on the dance floors and in the charts, as well as getting amazing reviews from press.
But there’s still time until the end of the year...and while producing tracks for his debut album and the various gigs around the world, Paolo has in the mean time placed some more tracks due for release prior to the end of the year as well as delivered some amazing remixes for the like of Josh Gabriel and The Droyds [the latter for #1 dance Italian label Rebirth]...

THELUCKYONE
TheLuckyOne, Slovenian DJ, met electronic dance music in mid 90's while listening to RMB, Paul Van Dyk, Chris Liebing, Umek (of course!) and to many more. He wanted to be like one of those guys, so he started to dream of being a great DJ, and someday a great producer.
Well, a wish of being a DJ has become reality – performances at several Slovenian clubs and bars, great results at DJ competitions, guest mixes on internet radios, … In 2008 he and friends organized the first out of many events called RoCkin' It @ ... – parties at the most unusual places.
He did a guest mix at Oslo Nights, had a bunch of great events including first appearance in foreign countries (Macedonia, Club Mazgal).
BLACK ABSYNTH
Progressive duo Ian Greene and Striker are Black Absynth. Together they took a trip around the world of producing and DJ-making. In their sets they create a story full of dramatic turns and escalating tensions. Together with Chakra, founded by Ian, they shatter limits on Slovenian music scene.
PISTACHIHO'S PROJECT

Klen-Art Live a.k.a. Daweed - David Klenar is a key member of the Slovenian New School generation and is storming dance floors with his captivating take on contemporary techno. His hybrid sound is steeped in industrial minimal techno twisted with tough, edgy high-octane tech house. Not only is he one to hear, but also one to see as reported from party People all over Slovenia and beyond. Keep your eye's on him and his innovative approach!
Deyco is a musician by soul and heart, follower of innovation, underground bits and inspired by modern techniques. Even before he was 8 years old he started reading music notes. From the first time he saw a mixing table he knew that this was his destiny. Afterwards he developed his second love for non-commercial electronic music. At the age of 15 he did an apprenticeship at a radio station as tune technician and producer and this experience was life changing. He has good organisational skills and he loves to organize parties. He is an active member of the After8 organization.
BENJAMIN SHOCK
The producer and DJ from the Slovenian coast Benjamin Shock is known by his energetic sets spiced up with powerful scratching. He started his DJ career in 1998 when Radio Tartini gave him an opportunity to work with quality equipment and soon he became an important member of the team for production of commercials and jingles. He performed at many events and clubs such as Gavioli Embassy, Mediapark Florist, K4, Marshall, Tivoli, The Club, Africa, Alaya, Top.
His musical style is a mix of jackin', funky house, jazzy house and tech house. Benjamin produces breakbeat music, drum'n'bass and hip hop for Slovenian artists like Hugo and Kizo.
MALEK
He is in recent times musically mostly participating from home, where he is slowly building his small home studio. As many DJ Malek also started with techno records, later on he involved himself and his friends into more deep, nice beats of minimal. By now he created with his friends a small DJ Company called Material touch which includes the nearest's musical friends and worked with different artists such as Viktoria Rebeka, Slider, Mint, Michael, Marco Dassi, Immortal, Klen-Aart and many others in Slovenia and neighbouring countries. He is an internationally rising minimal producer with a lot of support from his friend's and family. By the and of the year 2009 he released some tracks on net label COFFEEBREAKSTREET, an album called Solid Ground with six tracks on Enter Label in 2011 and an EP with the remix for Plastikman's classic Ask Your Self and Viktoria Rebeka's Goldframe on NASIMUS Rec.(HLTS). Looking forward to all what's coming to him, having a vision and enjoying the sound's he does not bound himself to minimal, but also gladly aknowlidges influences from techno, tech-house and other styles.
IMMORTAL
Denis Lederhas first encountered electronic music at the end of 1990s, in the golden period of techno, and it was only a matter of time when would electronica start to fill most of his waking hours. When he found himself wrapped in his first vinyl pleasures, house music – which he describes as the music for the soul – started to dominate his sets. Dance elements were added by funky and Latin electronic rhythms and tunes, spiced with saxophone and female vocals, as well as with the inspiration from a wide range of lounge and funk.
After almost a decade, time took its toll, and he began to be interested in new digital technology. As a student of electrical engineering, he had a direct insight into the workings of new technologies, which at the time still seemed shrouded with mystery to most people. He used his knowledge to start developing his own unique manner of playing music, which challenges some of the long-established bases of DJ-ing. At different events, but especially in Slovenian nightclubs and at festivals, he has presented his project Immortal Tune, which is based on the idea of trespassing borders between different styles and methods of mixing electronic music.
LUKE MARCUS
Marko Lük is the head of the Alphawave team that for several years has been managing alternative electronic music events in Maribor. Electronic music has been his passion since childhood, but he draws his inspiration from various music styles. His production is therefore not stylistically confined and reaches from the dynamic and hard techno to chill out and experimental. Due to being »infected« by energetic electronics since the beginning of the millennium, he has committed himself to care for the dance pleasures of loyal fans of electronic music and good mood across Slovenia and across borders.
BENCH
Bench a.k.a. DJ Benjamin Rok Kraševec comes from Kranj and is engaged in electronic music for more than 10 years and in rolling of turntables approximately 5 years. He is one of the organizers of the Techno picnic and Underground Vibes parties. His style is very specific and is a rare mix of dark, Birmingham and deep techno. He plays exclusively on vinyl, but enriches his collection with fresh music and his performances are always a unique experience. He has played in numerous clubs, mainly in Gorenjska and Ljubljana, and at few open-air events.
