Happy faces in the city park were joined by laughter and diverse music. Jurček stage hosted Tomaž Domicelj, who extended his performance like Bruce Springsteen does often, said Tomaž himself. “I always I am listening to myself. If I feel I want to continue listening to it, I must be doing something right,” laughed Domicelj after the concert. He remembered his first concerts at Lent and said he is still as excited as he was back then. He loves visiting other events at the festival.
The main stage offered the closing ceremony of 24th Folkart that included all folklore groups. We had the chance to compare different cultures through music and dancing. "Did you hear that? Did you hear that?!" bass player Sam Minaie couldn’t hide his excitement after the performance at Jazzlent. "I cannot believe I just met this guy yesterday. One concert and I feel like I've known him for 10 years," he said about the legendary drummer Magnus Ostrom. Together with a 25-year-old Armenian piano virtuoso Tigran Hamasyan they performed for the first time as Tigran Hamasyan Trio. Because of their instant connection they have already discussed working together in the future. "A great festival, with outstanding audience," said Tigran after the concert.
